Orphos Guaranteed Content % (w/w) Total Nitrogen: 5 Urea Nitrogen: 5 Water Soluble Phosphorus (P₂O₅): 27 Water Soluble Zinc: 5 ORPHOS is a clear bright red liquid fertilizer containing optimal levels of phosphorus, nitrogen, and zinc in liquid form. It contains 5% nitrogen (N w/w), 27% phosphorus (P w/w), and 5% water-soluble zinc (Z w/w). ORPHOS is specially formulated as a liquid fertilizer to effectively penetrate plants in foliar applications. The formula contains immediately available phosphorus, urea nitrogen, and zinc. When applied to soil during early development stages of vegetables and some field crops, it significantly promotes root growth. Unlike other phosphorus fertilizers, ORPHOS is absorbed by plants even at lower soil temperatures. For phosphorus to be absorbed by plants, soil pH should be between 6.0 and 7.5. In soils with pH below 6.0, phosphorus reacts with iron and aluminum; in soils with pH above 7.5, it reacts with calcium and magnesium, forming phosphorus compounds that are insoluble in water. Therefore, even if phosphorus concentration is high in soil solution, it becomes immobile and is either poorly absorbed or not absorbed by plants at all. The phosphorus source in ORPHOS is Super Phosphoric Acid and Zinc. Recommended application rates: 400-600 cc/100 liters water for foliar spray, and 2 liters per decare for drip irrigation systems
