It is the best choice for top dressing for all crops in all soil and climate conditions. Since calcium and nitrate are taken up together by plants, they do not leave residue in the root zone like other fertilizers. These two nutrients positively affect each other and do not cause soil salinity. During nutrient uptake, nitrate nitrogen facilitates the uptake of water-soluble calcium, thus helping to meet the plant’s calcium needs. – The vital importance of calcium in plant nutrition: Calcium is a macronutrient highly consumed by plants; it is a structural component of plant cell walls. It is usually found in forms in the soil that plants cannot utilize, and its mobility within the plant is very limited. Calcium carbonate in the soil may not adequately meet the plant's calcium needs due to its low solubility in water. For all these reasons, calcium fertilization is needed in addition to other fertilizers. Plants cannot grow without calcium. After nitrogen and potassium, calcium is the most consumed nutrient by plants.
