Magnit Guaranteed Content % (w/w) Total Nitrogen: 11 Nitrate Nitrogen: 11 Water-Soluble Magnesium (MgO): 16 Biragro Magnit (Magnesium Nitrate - Mg(NO3)2.6H2O) is a fully water-soluble, pure, crystalline fertilizer highly suitable for eliminating magnesium deficiency in plants. It contains 16% MgO and 11% nitrate nitrogen. Since nitrate facilitates the uptake of magnesium in plants, Biragro Magnit is a good magnesium carrier. It dissolves easily in water and is suitable for foliar applications and nutrient solutions. It can be applied together with many substances applied through the leaf. Magnesium is the main building block of chlorophyll, which gives leaves their green color; therefore, it is a very important element for chlorophyll formation. Magnesium ions play a role in protein synthesis, many enzymatic reactions, and the formation of vitamins. Magnesium deficiency in plants manifests as follows: • The first symptoms appear in older leaves as the healthy green color between veins disappears, followed by yellowing between the veins. • In some plants, magnesium deficiency appears as spots. • In severe deficiency, leaves turn reddish-purple. As the deficiency worsens, green areas disappear. • Symptoms of magnesium deficiency first appear on lower (older) leaves.
